Lesson Worksheets

I spent some time today at Web Poster Wizards.  In my opinion,  googlesites is not a very friendly program to use.  I THINK I am finally figuring it out, but by the time I post next weeks assignments, I may have lost my edge.  I have linked my worksheets to both my blog and the curriculum page.

What I do like is using these websites that allow me to create something, and then assign it a URL.  That is nice!  In a class I took last term, I could have used this ability.

Sue's Site's to visit

http://ssummerford.tadalist.com/lists/279059/public

I visited this website on our list of websites to check out.  At this website, found a recommendation for a site called http://zonezero.com/magazine/essays/diegotime/time.html .  I think this site was interesting to me for many reasons.  One reason I like it is because this family had the foresight to record pictures of their family, EVERY year since  1976.  I was only 5 years old when this family began taking pictures.

What a huge endeavor....On top of that, I do not know that I want my image stored, side by side, for prosperity's sake!  I think I was the most intrigued with the aging process of the parents.  I can't believe that he had a beard and mustache through the whole 33 years, and the woman had the same hairsyle except for 1 year.

Also, the two oldest boys are so similar.  I think they looked like twins through most of the photos.

The other website that had links that I could see using in my classroom are located at:  http://cogdogroo.wikispaces.com/StoryTools .  This site has many different websites (50) to create and publish a digital story.  My suggestion is to read the small write-ups on each website to see which one would best fit your grade level/age group.
